Emotional Freedom Techniques was originally created by Gary Craig, a Stanford Alumnus. Since its introduction Emotional Freedom Technique has been recognized by the American Psychological association, and has been used in a number of cases to help reduce stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, and improve the overall mental health of the patient.

Emotional Freedom Technique is similar to acupuncture in that it stimulates the same energy meridians in the body without the use of needles.
By tapping on certain locations of the human body the patient inputs kinetic energy onto specific electromagnetic meridians. While this is being done the patient visualizes the specific area of stress or anxiety.
